Register analysis focuses on lexico-grammar of a text and always concentrates on the stylistic features of it; while genre analysis takes text structure as its target. In other words, register analysis is from micro perspective to analyze a text whereas genre analysis is from macro perspective. This study aims at making the best of the advantages of register analysis and genre analysis and making up their respective disadvantages. The descriptive analysis on the sample PWBE reveals the advantage and feasibility of this study.
