| TaoShi is a great painter as well as a great aesthetist in Chinese painting history.ManyPredecessors have done much research on his aesthetic thoughts,but their studies lack depth.This dissertation starts with an introduction to his Iife,Iiterary name,style of painting and analyses the formation and transformation of his aesthetic thoughts.Then ,on this basia,it studies further the three concepts "one painting", "I", "way"etc,which constitute the core of the system of his painting aesthetic thoughts.Finally,it expounds the influence from Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism to his aesthetic thoughts.lt is believed in this dissertation that TaoShi's aesthetic thoughts are a unique and compleresystem of aesthetics with an integration of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism at a high theoretical and ideological leve.
