The boundary between the Loushao dialect and Changyi dialect was based on the administrative divisions all the time. The dialects in Shuangfeng County belong to the former and the dialects in Xiangtan County the later. This kind of division is mainly acceptable. As we know, in the boundary area, people communicate with each other closely, which results in the mutual contact of different dialects. According to this, we chose the boundary between Shuangfeng County and Xiangtan County as our research area. We try to describe the phonetic construction of Heyehua, Qingshanqiaohua and Hecunhua. In addition, a comparison will be made among the three. The thesis falls into five parts, which mainly offer language facts and analyze language materials.The Introduction Part shows us the present studies on the division of Loushao dialect and Changyi dialect, the main purpose and the methods of our research.Chapter One An introduction of the geography, the population and the language distribution of Heye and Qingshanqiao.Chapter Two From the point of the features of initial consonant, compound vowel and tone, a systematic analysis is to be made to describe the phonetic system,of Heyehua, Qingshanqiaohua and Hecunhua.Chapte'r Three A systematic comparison is made in the point of the features of initial consonant, compound vowel and tone among Heyehua, Qingshanqiaohua and Hecunhua.Chapter Four A conclusion is drawn on the basis of statistics.
