On Chorus Art In The European Renaissance

From the 14th Century to the 16th Century, Europe Was in the transition from the feudalism to the Capitalism .The degenerate Feudalism which was governed by the Christian was descending and the newly emerging Capitalism challenged it with Humanism .Compared with the literature and plastic arts, the Renaissance of music began in the early period of the 15th Century In along time of Western music history the 14th, 15th and 16th Century's music was regarded as unadulterated vocal music or the Renaissance music Even they were called "a cappella period". We know about the music of this period by the vocal music works although the historians and the artists didn't think so, Therefore, in some sense, European Renaissance Chorus art's development and history represented it's music history.This article discusses the Chorus art based on three parts: the first part is on the background and the condition the second part is on the developing process the last part is on the analysis of the ideology connotation and spirit quintessence of the first part explains the society and history background ideology trend and the composition technique and method of the Chorus art: 1 from the 1330s to the middle period of the 16th Century; 2 The new tendency of the 16th Century Chorus art , is mainly on the secular and national Chorus art's prosperity . 3 Based on the 16th Century's religion reform and it's opposition's effect on the chorus art they pushed the religion Chorus art to the peak of the music art The third part to the Human-centered thinking s reflection on the Chorus art. We will expound this question respectively from 3 aspects: the hearing perception, the reflection of emotion, the freedom of personality.
