Qing did not necessarily have conflicts with Japan and Huayi order was also not bound to become one of the contradictions between the two countries. These could be explained by their relationship in the period before modem times. Since the modern times, however, the relationship between Qing and Japan had been put into the edge of collapse and thus the issue of Huayi order that was the target Japan to destroy had become the main conflict (and even it was the most important issue for Qing and Japan before 1884). The reasons were the factors for Japan such as the imbroglio of history and reality, being a victim as well as an inflicter under the law of jungle in international environment and the establishment of Japan's militarism system.Japan began to scheme to destroy Huayi order after Mingzhi Reform. There, however, were complex situations because of the factors such as Japan's flabbiness at the beginning, its acute inner problems, the complicated international environment and the common interests as well as contradiction between western emperies and Japan on Huayi issue. It was evident that Japan invaded China with various means at the two stages around 1882 incident. Although the means of invasion was different at different stages, it was certain that the conflicts between China and Japan had become harder with Japan's increasing strength and ambition.Faced these complexions the countries concerned in the Huayi system, whatever positive or negative behaviors, were bound to response by different ways with different positions and circumstances. Ryukyu regarded that it was the first thing to safeguard its territory by doing three things simultaneously. However, these measures did not have evident effects on the Ryukyu because of the little international spaces, Japan's suppression for it and its own blunders. P.R. Korea tried to pursue progress independently when it had two assignments in the new circumstances. Nevertheless, Korea had not changed its destiny since there were new and old conflicts, inconsistency in cliques and international interferences, which were far more violent than those Ryukyu confronted. Qing had responsibilities to protect Korea and Ryukyu from invasion. But Qing's ideas about dependent states in the period before modem times were sharply different from those in modern times. Qing government, therefore, often faced baffles when it came to deal with the matters about these countries. Nevertheless, it was certain that Qing disposed of these issues with the standard that who was significant for Qing's own safety of territory. Qing had totally different altitudes toward the twocountries because there wre different cognitions about the two countries. Since Qing was narrow and selfish and stuck to old ways, its ideas were out of date and Korea and Ryukyu had been heavily affected. The change of Eastern Asia order was in nature that the eastern order had been replaced by west. Western countries as participators had great influence on China, Japan and Korea. Japan acted as an important role in the collapse of Huayi order. At last this order had been destroyed because Japan continually adjusted its strategies, increased its strength and successfully utilized the international conflicts. The collapse of Huayi order gave us a lot of enlightenments. It was significant for us to keep eyes on the ideas of Japan' militarism, to consider the stations and interests of small countries, to pay attention to the relationships with big countries, to broadly observe the changes of international new order, to change the traditional ideas and to carry forward the modernization endlessly.
