In the study of the idea of laoZhunag, there exist many kinds of viewpoints and lots of treatises. But in this thesis, we will technically discuss the regressive idea of laozi and Zhuangzi. The concept of regression is not a originality later. In Laozi 's <> , we can find this concept definitely such as 'go back to root', 'convert to plain', 'convert to brightness', 'convert to nothing' ect. And in <> we can also find similarities. The follow is the syllabus of this thesis.In the prologue, we will simply see the actuality of the study. At the same time states the dissimilation that exist in the society, in order to tell you the societal meaning and realistic meaning of this thesis.In the first part, we will probes some pivotal propositions such as 'nothing', 'plain', and 'one' in Laozi's literature as well as that in Zhuangzi 's. readers can realize the distillate of the regressive idea of laoZhuang.In the second part, basing on the dissertation foregoing, we probe the core of the regressive idea ulteriorly, we can find the ultimate goal of regression and know the tenet of this thesis synchronously. This is the hinge of all the content.In succession, we will discuss the regressive idea of Laozhuang that have correlations with the personality. It includes three aspects : First is the analysis of the proposition 'convert to baby '.In this dissertation, we willrefer to the points of view of some scholars overseas. Secondly we dissertate the essential of regressive idea that relates to the personality. And then we will discuss the question that how can we comprehend "inaction" correctly, which have important meaning with cultivating ourself.At last, we will discuss the regressive idea of Laozhuang from the angle of sociology. In this part we firstly state and analyze the unearthly blueprint of society which advocated by Laozi and Zhuangzi. At the same time, we should sum up the rule of double negation. Then we will dissertate this rule from two aspects :one is spirit, the other is matter.The regressive idea is the distillate of Laozhuang's thought, it is the artery of their sayings. So I want to clear up my not well-rounded ponderations about the regressive theory of Laozhuang to communicate with other pursuers.Although this thesis only discuss the regressive idea of Laozi and Zhuangzi, we can only dissertate the point.
