On Zhang Henshui's Mental State Of Producing And Producing Of Popular Novels

Based on the previous and the present study of Zhang Henshui, an author of popular novels, the thesis discussed the relationship between Zhand Henshui's mental state of cteating and his works from the viewpoint of writers' mental state of creating. This discussion is extended from three aspects as follows:1. The origin which lead to the multilayed mental state of Zhand Henshui and its reflection in producing.2. The influence on producing romantic novels fron Zhang's love complex.3. Changes of Zhang's mental state of producing and the improving tendency in his way of producing.In modern literary history of China, Zhang Henhui represents the highest achievement of popular novels since the period of "5.4" , 1919, his sticking on the creative improvement on the traditional so-called chaptered-style novels reverses the contradictary state between the popular novels and new literature, and then leads the popular novels to go forward along the main stream of new literature.
