| Studying the emergence of primitive art is an important way for us to find out the origin and essence of art .This dissertation attempts to make explanations of the emergence of primitive art through studying the theory of its origin, the forms and the psychological mechanism of primitive art. The content of this article includes three aspects mainly: first, analyses the main theories of the origin of primitive art, considering primitive art is a record of the primitive mankind in spiritual field and the joyful materialization. Second, carries on research of the primitive artistic forms. Chain decorations, with close relations to primitive work, reflects the consciousness of the mankind's liking to be beautiful and dim sense of religion. The primitive painting, as the result of witchcraft, reflects the revelation of the mankind's initial spiritual revel and the essence of life. The sculpture reflects the primitive mankind's free creation and the psychology of the game more, so the relationship between human being and the nature becomes closer, and this has injected more artistic emotions into the human life. Primitive accouterments are a kind of image of the primitive human cultural life and a visual expression he consciousness of life. Pottery attaches more attention to art and its relation to science, and mankind artistic emotion is poured into more scientific rational knowledge. Through the above research, we can see the target of the primitive human essential strength of life, primitive art how to reflect that mankind's delight of initial life and how the human life has been promoted by art. Third, puts forward the relation between three main psychological factors-practical satisfaction psychology, cognition of aesthetics and the relation between individual self-affirmation and the initial delight of life, offers us the further affirmation of the close tie between art and life when art occurs, and the unified relation between the origin of art and essence of the art.
