Virginia Woolf is a famous woman novelist in the twentieth century, and she is one of the important modernist novelists. In her writings, she put her eyes on the new keys of writings, so her most writings are named of modernism novels. And also Woolf's novels contain many keys of poem, so her novels are also named as 'novels of poem'.But I think Woolf's 'novels of poem' is not her most important key, she put emphasis on feminism, So I will analyze Woolf's feminism in this paper. Feminism, both as a theoretical analysis of gender inequality and oppression and as a political movement, has used literary texts extensively in making and disseminating its meanings. The significance of literature for feminism also gives a particular place to those writers whose work spans both feminist polemic and fiction .Firstly, this paper analyze that Woolf how to analyze the question of "women writing "in the theory. Woolf concerned with the nature of womanhood. The focus on women characters in Woolf's fiction is central to much early feminist criticism, as well as non-or anti-feminist criticism. For example, earlier fiction of Woolf's 'Mrs. Dalloway', 'To the Lighthouse' and 'The waves', these novels contain political and social the contens of her time. To an extent, 'anger' and 'androgyny' are the two terms most central to feminist debates on Woolf. Their centrality serves to further increase the importance of 'A Room of One's Own' as the key text of Woolf's feminism and feminism's Woolf, for it is here that 'anger' and 'androgyny' are most fully discussed. And 'A Room of One's Own' is seen by many critics to subdue and repress women's anger in favor of a more serene gender-transcendent or androgynous creativity, whereas righteous anger is felt to be the motivating force underlying 'Three Guineas', a text in which 'androgyny' is replaced by an emphasis on women as outsiders, both different from and separate from men. In Mary Eagleton critique of Woolf and other women writers of the early twentieth century: "She render with a nice precision the subtle gradations of perception and sensation ,and in this delicious banquet the mere man still yearns for a little red beef and port wine."Secondly, this paper analyze that Woolf how to practise "women writing "in her writings. One is the different angle of her novels. The famous passage in 'Modern Fiction' in which Woolf offers an account of consciousness and the modern novel-'Examine for a moment an ordinary mind on an ordinary day. And many of Woolf's contemporaries continued to work with a broader definition of the feminist project, and to show that women's rights had in on sense been conclusively 'won with suffrage'. The second is the musical construction in her novels. The mind receives a myriad impressions'(an aesthetic from which she in fact takes a critical distance, ascribing it to Joyce and his contemporaries)-was used against Woolf by her detractors, who frequently defined her limitations as those of a purely passive, receptive consciousness. The third is the beautiful words in he novels. Woolf reinforces the point with the words of her writings. The passage of 'To the Lighthouse', the narratives of scence and the literary heritage esplores the different ways of men's writing. Most novels of Woolf are very nice and beautiful, so many reader and critics are in favor of Woolf's novels. So Woolf is one of the best woman writer and a famous feminist.Above all, Woolf is the queen in women' hearts, because that she strives for our women, and that she played the important role in the feminism and literature of the twentieth century. And the beauty of her writing will stay in the world for ever!...
