This paper takes the sound evolution of medieval 'RuSheng' characters in Handan dialect as the main research object. There are two research findings here. One is the main vowels of 'RuSheng' rhymes of certain group are in a state of variation in Handan dialect. The trend is central vowel , and it will lead to the simplification of 'RuSheng' rhyme's construction. From this micro-research on the sound-change we may look into the macro theories and principals formatted before.Another one is: the Handan dialect's transformation from 'RuSheng' to 'shusheng' (level tone) belongs to the folded sound change, which is influenced by external dialects, mainly, PuTongHua, in the form of competition between the local and outside, not the internal self-evolution of sound system; among the young people, the rate of 'RuSheng' turning into 'ShuSheng' has reached 69%. This paper emphasizes the reading local and outside of Handan dialect 'RuSheng' and the dynamic development of 'Ru' changed into 'Shu' among the old, middle-aged and young, and it demonstrates that Handan dialect 'Ru' turning into 'Shu' belongs to the folded sound-change, ranging seven aspects from sound-change units, ways and etc. Thus, it provides a dialectical evidence for the folded sound-change from 'Ru' to 'Shu', and also may be it bring about enlightenment effects for official dialects from 'Ru' to 'Shu' at a new point.
