It is a main task of this thesis to start with analyzing the texts, which lay particular emphasis on exploring the aesthetic meaning and spiritual transcend contain on the new generation novels in 1990s.This thesis make analysis the new generation novels, which appear certainly in a specific cultural contexts in 1990s.And proved the new generation novels praised so much at first and belittled at last, in order to reconstruct the meaning and value which exist in its inside and neglected by critics with implicit inside of it. In the contrast of two kinds of cultural identities are analyzed, explain out the meaning of the" ruptures "in the novels written by new generation novelists, this is the content of the first part of the thesis. The second part of this thesis show importance and complexity of the body through the evolution of the ethics of the body appears in the novels of new generation. Through the alienation of the bodies by traditional culture, we can see the great modification about human's ontology in these novels and the novelists' positive attitude to this theme also can be found. Connecting with their respecting about body ,desire ,a lot of new generation novels also point to sufferings recollect. Meanwhile, this thesis pointed out its weak points which showing in these novels about person who indulge in excessively to body and desire too.Regarded as the closest creative phenomenon which contacted instantly with the actual life, the novel of new generation not only emphasize the spiritual connection withmetaphysics between literature and life, it imply the folk meaning in the intellectual's marginal narrates even more, the third part of this thesis explain its unique folk meaning from these novelists' marginal existence circumstances and its strong secular feelings and thoughts that text have shown. When we observe and comment the trend and total characters we should find the creative experience contained in the literature of this period. Only in this way can we grasp the special aesthetic features . Placing the new generation novels on aesthetic aspect ,we will be aware that they completely turn over the traditional narrative standpoint. ,The fourth part of this thesis demonstrates novel's aesthetic meaning following several aspects. (1) From the novels of new generation we can see the intellectual's image have changed, they changed from an enlightening man to enlightened one; (2) Re-examination of the relationship between father and son in contrast to the traditional ethics relation; (3), Women' cultural meaning of the new enlightenment in generation novel to the males. (4), Narrate latitude converting from time to space.In a word, the emphasis point of this text lies in: 1, By the analysis of the culture identity of the novelist of new generation, which offers the foundation of analyzing this particular creative phenomenon in 1990s. 2, from spiritual meaning aspect, prove modernity of people that novel reflect its pursue. 3, through the combining of latitude of discovery and narrating of the folk meaning in the novel of new generation, elucidate its aesthetic meaning that is embraced in.
