Aesthetic Character Of The Modern Generation

Zong Baihua (1897-1986), following Liang Qichao, Wang Guowei, and CaiYuanpei during the early Republic Of China, was a representative of China's second-generation aestheticians. His aesthetic ideology was mature and made a great impact in the 1940s, regained after nearly 40 years and had a "graphic" trend in academia during the mid-1990s.Perhaps Zong Baihua gave little direct aesthetic exposition, thus the current academia paid a lower academic attention to his aesthetic ideology than relevant research on Liang Qichao, Wang Guowei, Cai Yuanpei and Zhuguangqian, etc. According to Zong's aesthetic ideas and practical activities, he was an aesthetician with a strong sense of enlightenment and humanitarian. Different from the Western aesthetic system which only stayed in the scientific and theoretical level, his aesthetic achieved the integration between aesthetic and life practice.He initiated an artic outlook on life all his time actively, committed to nurturing aesthetic personality, considered the good quality of art and the generation of aesthetic character as its ultimate aesthetic objective, took art and aesthetics as final destination of Chinese community, Chinese culture and People's living, thus created from the aesthetic and artistic personality to achieve aesthetic personality generated system. In fact, its aesthetic research is the study of aesthetics. He, engaged in aesthetic education (Arts Education), showed Schiller-style aesthetic feelings, represented an important position in the history of China's modern aesthetic ideas.This paper began with aesthetic personality of the modern generation, interpreted Zong's aesthetic ideology from an aesthetic vision, made an in-depth study on Zong's aesthetic integrity background, aesthetic personality construction, aesthetic personality model, aesthetic personality realm, aesthetic personality generated aesthetic design, and finally, gave the test to Zong's personality aesthetic ideology.
