Comments On Xiao Hong's Inheriting And Developing To Lu Xun's Novelistic Tradition

Xiao hong and Lu xun are regarded as daughter and father in Chinese modern literature history. It is not only because Xiao hong and Lu xun had close contact in Lu xun's last period in his life, but also because Xiao hong grasped Lu xun's spirit in literature and inherited it consciously.The thesis choose a style of literature 'novel' and make a reseach on Xiao hong's representitive novels "The Biography of Hu Lan River" , "Living and Deadly Place" and some Lu xun's novels in "Cring out" and "Pacing back and forth". Begin with reseaching Lu xun's novelistic tradition and based on summarizing the reasons of Xiao hong's inheriting to Lu xun's novelistic tradation, the thesis mainly analyses Xiao hong's inheriting to Luxun's novelistic tradition in novelistic content and novelistic form. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the inheriting relationship in literature spirit between Xiao hong and Lu xun.The thesis consists of six parts. "Intoduction": a brief account of the reseach of others, the visiual reseach angle, reseach purpose and method of the thesis. Chapter one: "The intention of Lu xun's novelistic tradition" include Lu xun's "Enlightenment" of literature,the consciousness of bringing forth new ideas, the true character of literature and subjective lyrics in Lu xun's novelistic tradation. Chapter two: "The reasons of Xiao hong's inheriting to Lu xun's novelistic tradation "include the influence of Lu xun and foreign literature works to Xiao hong's wtiting. Chapter three : "Xiao hong's inheriting to Lu xun'novelistic tradation" analyses their similarities in many aspects such as literature spirit,novel content and novel style. Chapter four : "The personality of Xiao hong's novel style" points out Xiao hong develops Lu xun's novel spirit and brings forth new ideas as the same tune of inheriting to Lu xun's novelistic tradation in the aspect of female awareness and esthetic seeking, etc. Conclusion emphasize Xiao hong's inheriting to Lu xun's novel tradation and the personal style of Xiao hong's novel.
