Jiang Kui was a poet in the middle of Nan Song dynasty. He never served as an official and wandered in all his life. He was an important member of the poets who roamed about. The particular features of Jiang's poems- "elegance taste" and "grace"- stuck out in the Nan Song dynasty, among which was filled with hazy and dense air. The study of his existing works focuses on the style of "elegance taste" and "grace", The studies of idea significance of his works aren't profound. Most of commenter of different dynasties thought the moral character of Jiang was decorous, but seldom probed into the relation between his vagabond life and his creation mind. Most of them didn't serve in the government in their lives. About Jiang's poems, the paper emphatically analyzes the connotation of "elegance" and "grace" and their artistic expressions, and gave prominence to original creation of the two in aesthetic sentiment. Jiang's poems, which the later generations modeled after, stood out in Parnassus in both the late Nan Song dynasty and the early Qing dynasty. So specially talk about Jiang's status in literature history. The thesis consists of three parts:Part one: Dissertate the cultural connation of the concept that Jiang was like a poet in the Jin and Song dynasty, especially in the two aspects : affectionateness and love of nature. Dissertate further the tragedy of Jiang's life.Part two: Analyze "elegance taste" and "grace". The text regards themnot only as Jiang's art style, but also as the part of the contents of Jiang's poems.Part three: Appraise the significance of Jiang's poems in the literature history newly.
