Tea aesthetics thought deeply influenced the literati painters in the MingDynasty, particularly influenced the artist’s way of thinking and aesthetic taste.Therefore, tea painting in the Ming Dynasty were rich in beauty of artisticconception of tea aesthetics, such as harmony, plain, quiet and simple. Furtherresearching these tea paintings, you might as well find out the deeper thoughtconnotation, which are the painters’ mood portrayal and the expression from theobjective images portray to the subjective spirits. Tea painting works in this periodshowed a kind of elegant, graceful charm.You may not enter the" quiet elegance" artistic conception, until you areplain, quiet enough. You may enter into a detached state with modest feelings; youmay generate detached art inspiration in extreme quiet and ecstasy feelings; youmay finally reach in the harmony between man and nature, nature, and return toinnocence. This is an aesthetic state of inaction. You may be truly satisfied byrealizing the nature of reversion and then can express the " quiet elegance" in theprocess of aesthetic activities.From the above conception, you may see that the natural view of Taoistthought directly affects the feelings and creative thinking direction of literatipainters, which not only reflects their aesthetic taste, more express their value oflife and life attitude. They improved themselves on one hand and pursued hermitlife on the other.
