A Study On Fulehun Case In Qianlong Dynasty

It was one of the important political events to deal with corruption in Qian Long Dynasty. Fulehun Case concerned several provinces and astonished many officials. Several senior officials, Agui, the Secretary Minister of Military Affairs Office,Sun Shiyi , the governor of guangdong province,Li Shiyao, the general-governor of Hubei and Hunan provinces etc, worked together closely. At last, they got the criminals' evidences of Fulehun, his family member Li Shirong , his changsui Yin Shijun, and Yade the general-governor of Fujian and Zhejiang provinces . So We can figure out some abnormal characteristics of the traditional society system through analyzing the detailed crimes of this case. But even further investigation was carrying out, Emperor Qianlong ordered the case to come to the end considering the political influence. When the case was tried ,some verdicts were just , while the others were not. Later, Fulehun Case was taken as a model one in curing the disease of bureaucracy system . From the perspective of this case, we can see that it is very complicated of the criminal law concerning bureaucrat crimes rather than such a simple and precise statute.
