Research on Musical Culture of " Suona Ensemble" of Zhao Village in North JiangsuIn this dissertation,the author takes a comprehensive research on the phenomenon of one of Chinese folk music culture-" Suona Ensemble",which has been existing for long but was overtook by the researchers.The author applies new sources through a new visual angle and came into new viewpoints. The new visual angle means that the author has the double background of the inner and outsider to look at the music and culture background of " Ensemble" through case study. The new sources refer to the first-hand sources through the author's field-survey and self-experience, most of which has never been known in the related academic circle. The new viewpoints have two meanings. Firstly the author strives to apply the advanced research methods and viewpoints, such as those of music-morphology ,music-ecology,music-sociology and so on, to make a deep and overall analysis on the general situations and natures of " Suona Ensemble".Secondly the author presents his own points of view on the important phenomenon related to the music culture of "Suona Ensemble",such as its structure and origins,characteristics of music play and local style,and also relations with other elements in local culture through the author's own analysis.
