Constructions in modern Chinese are made up of ordinary and deviate constructions. Deviate constructions are means of expression that is flexible and deviates from the ordinary, whose artistic value lies in the fact that they provide the possibility for creativity and innovation in linguistic expression. Therefore, they are suitable for artistic language but manifested themselves in poetic language in particular. This thesis, through the description. of the various manifestations of deviate constructions, discusses the relationship between the semantics of deviate constructions in poetic language and the context in which they appear and explores the psychological mechanism of the creation of deviate constructions and their aesthetic basis. |
