The poor life makes him realize the poverty of life and accepts the practical theory easily. This life surrounding makes him affectionate to the common civilian. The secondly, Lao She got widely in touch with the civilian literature and popular literature when he was young. At the same time, Lao She appears his mock and criticism to the men who worship money. The secondly, Lao She emphasizes figures' plain emotion and their miss to family when he talks about love and marriage. The populaces look on good wives and mothers as their idealcompanions. Lao She put emphasis on the responsibility of people who have been married. In addition, Lao She criticizes the figure and culture in his novels intellectually, but he shows his miss in his subconsciousness. The figures in his novels appear an opposed mode of beauty and ugliness. Besides, his novels emerge morality tendency when he portrays his figures. In the history of modern literature, the populace movement had already been an important literary phenomenon. Since the May Fourth movement, the colloquialism movement makes literature near to the masses. Because of the blind acceptance of the foreign literature views and writing skills, some writings appear europeanization tendency in language. Left Flank League literatures improve it a little, but it is short of true feeling and many writings appear the tendency of formula and concept. Lao She does it well between literature and ideology, which makes special contribution to modern literature.
