The Chinese literary and art theorists such as DongXuewen, He Guorui,Wang Yuanxiang, Qian Zhongwen etc, have made a thorough study on thecharacteristics and content of Chinese literature and art under a given condition-- the primary stage of socialism, the law of its creation and thedeveloping orientation in the future. All of these are named "the theoryof literary mode of production in the primary stage of socialism " . According to Marxism theory of the ideology of aesthetics, "the theoryof literary mode of production in the primary stage of socialism " areconsisted of three aspects: The first is that socialist literature and artmaintain and promote socialist economy. We realized its value from theintegration of theory and practice by Gorge and Brecht etc. Because ofits insufficient development of productivity, China inevitably suffers allkinds of oppression in politics, economy etc, the principle of "the culture thatresist politics " put forward by Fredric Jameson is still valid. The socialistliterature and art play a leading and exemplary role at any time. The second is thatthe aesthetic image of the literature and art contains the contradiction of differentmodes of production. The socialist mode of production inevitably contains the earlymodes of slavish and feudalistic production also includes the communistic mode ofproduction. Based on the ideology of aesthetics, the literary mode of production isa synthesis which consists of not only the contradiction between literaryexpression and aesthetic relation, but also the facts of politics, economy,philosophy, religious etc. The literature and art are essentially decided by relationin the realistic life. The realistic complexity makes abundant variety in its content;while the aesthetic distortion makes its form more attractive. The third is thatliterature should grasp the relations between realistic life and advance towardsattainable future. The literature and art, as the ideology of aesthetics, play animportant role throughout progress of modernization. It presents the commonimagination for the people and sets examples to the remoulding of the people'sspiritual life, which uses imagination and fabrication ,but not to copy itmechanically. Iser Wolfgand considers literature as a combination of reality,imagination and fabrication. Fabrication serves as a link between reality andimagination, it is also a fundamental characteristic of art .With the function of 2selection , combination and self-explanation ,art guides people's realistic beingto beautiful future by means of surpassing the limitations of realisticcontext. The literary and art potential at elementary socialist stage can not onlysatisfy the most people's aesthetic need but also improve their aestheticjudgement, whose characteristics show in the peculiar forms such as new yangko,countryside troupe, "the Nanning International Folk song festival" etc. Under the dual pressure of Chinese classic culture tradition and western culture,the Chinese literary and art in the primary stage of socialism formed its special style."Yun" (韵) as a symptom of realistic life relation displays the leniency andgoodwill in the world, the beauty of the humanity. Influented bypostmodernism, culture is from visual to aural. Although the realistic life is full ofhardships and troubles, it formed "Yuyun"(余韵).
