| Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has long been called the "Sea of Songs", which has a profound folk song culture foundation. However, under the circumstances of globalization and integration, the song culture has confronted great attacks. With the traditional fold song culture declining, people in the Bama – Panyang River Region positively give a full play to digitalization in the transmission of the above folk song culture, forming the special market for selling the folk song disks in the local and surrounding areas, and undertaking the modern transformation of traditional folk song culture. The masters of songs, the local cultural elites, who play a key role in the process, have created and recorded many popular folk songs and have become the major operators in the disk market. In the society with highly-advanced technology, maintaining each nation's own traditional culture and seeking the new cultures that can coexist in harmony have become a necessity for the development of the world. The transformation of traditional folk song culture in the region can serve as a model for other minorities to protect their own traditional cultures and to obtain the harmony development of traditional cultures and modern scientific technology. On the basis of survey conducted in the region, the author indicates the transmission and current situation of the traditional folk song culture with the theories of anthropology and cultural transformation, and tends to illustrate the essence of the representative folk song culture from the viewpoint of explanatory anthropology, aiming to provide some helpful information for modern humanity reconstruction.Part one: Introduction. This part mainly covers the following contents: the existing relevant research results, the aim of the thesis, the results of survey conducted in the region.Part two: the history and current situation of the folk song culture in the region. This part illustrates the whole process of development of the folk song culture, and the different opinions on that due to the influence of times and cultural perspectives.Part three: the emergence of the folk song culture in the Bama – Panyang River region in the digital times. As the core of the thesis, this part tends to illustrate the transformation of the folk song culture on the basis of observation, interviews and the first-handed materials of the author, and to illustrate the relations between the folk song culture and the three major ways of cultural transmission – oral transmission, written transmission and digital media.Part four: the development of masters of songs and singers, and their positive adaptation to the cultural transformation as well. By describing the development of masters of songs and singers and the role played by the masters in the process of cultural transformation, this part proves that masters of songs will surely become the pioneers in the cultural transformation course. Part five: the transmission and modern humanity reconstruction of the folk song culture of Zhuang ethic group. This part focuses on theoretical illustration, aiming to indicate the mission of humanity reconstruction in terms of documentary formation and poetic thought pattern. |
