The paper addresses itself to the question and the approach might include ascertaining in field research, and it needs to be spent most of time to study collections but also to read references and music-book, as well as to attach importance to research oral tradition as a normal form of study. And the paper is the study of music in culture and as culture as well as the study of music is not only in terms of itself but also in relation to its cultural context. Because social institute played an important role in musical behavior, it followed that connections should exist between social group and their music.Studying music in culture would imply a "holistic" view of culture as an organic unit. In terms of both synchronic and diachronic perspectives, it needs to consider commonness to emphasize special qualities. By "cultural relativism" studying the history process, ideation, the idea of time-space, creativity, representation, and cultural values of Mongolian "authentic folk songs" and "new folk songs". The study of music in culture context may be carried on with the morphologic method of structure of lyric, the movement of melody, the form of scale, and the timbre of sound. On the other hand, the coded voices play an important role in recognizing Mongolian long-song and new-song by creative process, and there are needs to study Mongolian music change and in its socio-cultural context and at stages of its accumulation.The paper is drawn on some of the relevant literature from ethnomusicology, socio-musicology, historical musicology, and occasionally other disciplines. And the body of the work is presented in five groups of chapters, it follows:Chapterâ… discusses, as introduction, the actuality and fruits of the domestic and international researches; clarify the important meaning and value of subject.Chapterâ…¡discusses the problem of the origin of "authentic folk songs"; the various issues in involving the analytical process.Chapterâ…¢, some problems involving description and analysis of "new folk song" as "an autonomous culture"; the classifying and discussing some of the issues related to Mongolian "authentic folk songs" and "new folk songs".Chapterâ…£, in terms of both synchronic and diachronic perspectives, the study of Mongolian "authentic folk songs" and "new folk songs" as creative process, and the question of what causes an idea to have a space and time and particular long-song musical style, as well as the existence of quantities and qualities in tradition performance.Chapterâ…¤, some aspects of musical change and representation as studied in musical culture; concerns cultural values of Mongolian "authentic folk songs" and "new folk songs".The Epilogue deals briefly with the study following some issues and deficiencyies in the work.
