The Fantastic World In The Huaben Stories Of Song Dynasty

The storytelling is prosperous in the South-Song dynasty, and the huaben creation attained to its climax correspondingly.At the same time, the reflection of community tended to profund and wide. However, the author always transformed the unfeigned facts into chimerical fantastic world, and combined them with eachother to show the absolute real personality, affair vividly in a fantastic way. This thesis, which consists of three parts, tries to give a prime discussion with this literature phenomena. Part one analyses the showing feature in the fiction content: first the fairyland, dreamingland and also glamourland which always turn up in the huaben. Second the personality are oftern natural and supernatural. Finally the transformation of fairy tale. Part two analyses the feature in the write finesse, especially the exaggeration and curiousness of the plot and uncanny adumbration, adjustment of the visual angle, switch of the time and space. Part three makes a discussion about the reason. Because every literature phenomena are resulted from complicated reasons including the huaben in the Song dynasty, therefore this thesis can only choose three direct ones: spiritual demand of the citizen, religion stimulation, succession and development of the fantastic description .
