The Comparison Between Rousseau And Lu Xun's Enlightenment Function

Thus, they finished "Counteraction" to enlightenment and inspired the descendants to rethink enlightenment.At the same time, the differences of culture tradition and times' background between east countries and west countries lead to various differences of their enlightenment function. In Lu Xun's time, "political saving" and "Thought enlightenment" were two themes in Chinese society. Therefore, in the same "Pianfeng", Lu Xun payed more attention to the human nature of "big ego", also named "national character"; In the same "counterplea", Rousseau lay particular emphasis on "making argument as resistance"; In the "Counteraction" to enlightenment, their thought had more "regressive" differences.
