Textual Translation Of The Yishishiyue As Addressed From The Perspective Of The Translator's Subjectivity

In this thesis, we will build a framework of criticism within which the possibility and necessity of translating The Tishishiyue could be substantiated.To realize this aim, the application of translator's subjectivity is crucial. And we must realize that its application is done in a process starting with the correct selection of what to be translated. That's why the hermeneutical reflection on the origin of The Yishishiyue will open the discussion in the thesis.Besides, the performance of the translator's subjectivity should be carried out within the textual translation framework. That is why the modern textual knowledge, such as textual information constitution, English-Chinese clause structure comparison, textual status, and cohesive force, will be applied in the criticism on the translation of The Yishishiyue.
