A Study On Foundation And Effect Of Govner-General Of San Bian In Ming Dynasty

During the first period of Ming Dynasty ,central government founded Yansui Gansu Ningxia military towns along Shanxi north frontier .They finished military prevention separately in their own military regions . When on military clash with Mengulia or other races, they didn't unite front work or aid one another , it often made them lose the war and crushing defeat .In order to promot Northwest frontier security , the central government planed to found a kind of offical to control the three towns , so finally they founded Governor-General of San Bian to administrate political and military affairs in Shanxi. After several years , it formed a military system named after this offical . Among this offical system around Governor-General of San Bian , the Imsperial Inspector administrate military and political service , the armed officer control military sterenth , Inspector-General supervise all doings .The final aim was to improve military defense ability at Northwest frontier , promot military cooperation effect , strengthen central government authority .The Govner-General of San Bian guaranted effective results in military and civil affairs, but it also produced inactive influences .
