A Cross-cultural Study On The Styles Of Treating Among Youth Of Chinese And Portugal Offspring

Styles of treating are important subject in the reseach on developing psychology. Macao has not been study it in detail and in depth among youth of Chinese and Portugal offspring for a long time. This paper make a introduction and simple discuss on it. Now Macao have been home for five years, and maybe in the face of this great history change, there will be some difference in the styles of treating between youth of Chinese and Portugal offspring. The study not only can be benefit of peace among them, but also advance the stability of Macao.The study includes two phases: The first one is to give them aquestionnaire consisting of satisfaction of Iife, confidence, salary , ability of Chinese and education background. The purpose is to compare the relation among satisfaction of life, confidence, salaryand language. The second one is to investigate the relation between the sorts of styles of treating and youth of Chinese and Portugal offspring by the questionnaire of salary and styles of treating.The final findings show that the subjects have positive expect after returning home. The styles of treating among them are kind of not mature, no difference between different gender, and male is better than female. There will be four groups among the youth ofChinese and Portugal offspring: Portugal ,Chinese-Portugal, Chineseborn in Macao and Chinese born in mainland. The last one mainly treat positively and does not attribute the success and failure to outside factors. They always throw themselves into solving problem combining their inside and outside factors to explore method of solving rather than complain.
