A Discussion On Death Imago Of Local Novels In "WuSi"

Based on the local novels in "WuSi'' the thesis investigates the styles and meanings of death imago, compares with the difference of death imago in other contemporaneous genres and subsequent local literary genres. There are four chapters in the thesis: In chapter one, classifies the death imago by body imago, natural imago relative to death, clothing and object imago relative to death and so on. In chapter two, from starting with the aesthetics, psychology and philosophy, expatiates upon how to locate the modern tragic aesthetics by using death imago, and the complicated concept on death. In chapter three, differentiates and analyses local novels' deliberate character in"WuSi", branches to explain from three parts. First, discusses differences among local novelists in "WuSi"to realize which death imago they prefer to use and which meanings they emphasize. Second, compares with other contemporaneous genres in "WuSi", which concludes problem novels, modern romantic novels, new poetry in "WuSi" and so on. Third, compares with subsequent local literary genres which belong to modern literary to analyze the after-affect of local novel in "WuSi". In chapter four, has a epilogue to conclude the whole thesis.
