Personalized Symbolism

the Silver Dove by Andrei Bely is one of the representative works of Russian Symbolism fictions. Bely use personalized symbolism poetic concept and carnival writing together in the Silver Dove, which built a bridge between his early symbolism poem creation and his anaphase novel experiment. On the basis of Russian symbolism literature theory and carnival theory of Bakhting, This paper tries to make an analysis about novel art of the Silver Dove from the total level of Bely's creation in his life.The paper includes the preface,the main body and the ending.In the preface,the author mainly introduces Bely's main works and poetic concept, and also talks about national and international research condition towards his works .The main body is composed of two parts. In Part One, the author mainly discusses about how Bely creatively blended realism and symbolism in the Silver Dove, and focuses on the main characters and imageries by virtue of symbolism poem and cultural text. The author concretely makes three kinds of annotations towards the hero Daryalsky and his experience in the fiction, explains the moral of a sect called the "Doves", summaries the ways from realism to symbolism and symbolic structure of duality.In Part Two, the author deeply and detailedly analyses four characteristics of carnival stylistics in the Silver Dore, associated with thecreative thought of Bely,which are the type and style,internextuality,feeling carnival and grottesco art.In the ending, the author puts Bely's novels into the background of the Russian Sivler Age ,and briefly appraises the value of his works in Russian literary history.
