"De(的)","Dui(对)" And The Pause

As we know, structure of the sentence is the base on which the prosodic construction isadjusted The structure of the sentence offers the foundation that prosodic laws work and set therange in which the laws of prosodic make difference. The prosodic laws will not destroy theboundary of the grammar in principle, but on a certain condition, they can step the boundary. Sowe can predict the prosodic structure of the sentence depending on the grammar and the prosodiclaws. This thesis discusses mostly where the pause appears. In order to discuss the issue, we alsoresearch the grouping of the syllable and analyze the model of the sentence. The analysis on prosodic structure must be on the base of certain model of the sentence. Wedetected synthetically the structural grammar, the generative grammar and the cognitive grammar,and put forward the assumption different from traditional grammar. And the assumption providesthe foundation to go further. In this thesis, we argue the model of the sentence at first, analyze the grouping of syllable,and research the place of the pause according to the "de(的)" and "dui(对)".
