Content: Tie Ning went on the literary world with the pure and beautiful novel Oh, Xiangxue, but subsequently she wrote Rose Door, Bath woman, and Afternoon cliff that were complicated and cruel, which demonstrated her literary world's infinite abundance. Tie Ning's writing has wandered up and down between warmth and cruelty, tradition and pioneer all the time. Although her writing was immediately received the great welcome from mainstream culture and ideology at the very beginning, she has been always intentionally escaping the naming and classify that literary world gave to her writing. An important theme of Tie Ning's writing is to pursue and introspect pure selfhood. On the other hand, the warmth, love and consideration to small potatoes who live in the bottom of society, have been running through writer's creation course. Behind the changeable representation, there is an unchangeable core, that is, Tie Ning's writing has been always pursuing and defending the ability of mankind spiritual health and inner dignity.
