Research On Social Security In Qin And Han Dynasties

Qin and Han Dynasties are the early periods of feudal society in China. Most of social systems and measures of that time have great influence on the social systems of later ages. This thesis studies social security in Qin and Han dynasties .The author holds that the idea and practice of social security is origin from the Previous Qin Dynasty, and it has experienced four stages: Qin Dynasty, early stage of the Western Han Dynasty, the middle and later stage of the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty ;the objects of social security at that time were already rather comprehensive, especially the aged, women and the poor were evoked great attention by the state and society because of their huge groups; the double-track system of implement subject, the legalization and programming of implement course, moral as a dominance maintenance factor are the character of social security in the Qin and Han Dynasties.
