Development And Evolvement Of The Grand Piece Of Song And Dance In Tang Dynasty

Inheriting the music of the central part of China, absorbing that of minority and foreign, and fusing both of them, the grand piece of Song and Dance which had originated from Han and Wei dynasty grew into its maximum in Tang dynasty. Then the prosperity of it was on the wane gradually and the main of Chinese ancient music culture began to transit from Song and Dance to Xi Qu and Shuo Chang. The dissertation focuses on clearing up the development history of the grand piece of Song and Dance in Tang dynasty and searches reasons how it forms and influence what it brings.
