This text combines the data of the Wood Tablets and Bamboo Slips with the traditional cultural literature and the production of experts, studies the peerage of Qin and Han dynasty and some problems about it.The article constitutes from four-part cents:The first part introduces the general development situation about the peerage of Qin and Han dynasty from Chun Qiu to Dong Han.The second part narrates the six ways of vouchsafe peerage of Qin and Han dynasty. Includes the contribution for military, contribution for country, bestowed by government when there were vital national affairs, and the moral character, the consanguinity, the merits and virtues of forebear, and so on.The third part regards the Wood Tablets and Bamboo Slips's data as principle, studies the rights of the people who get the peerage from three aspects, which are politics, economy, and law.The four-part cent studies the function and influence of peerage to the social at that time. The refection includes: Lit make for the ruler to capture the kaiserdom and make it solid, forcing the national become rich and strong; 2. Push the creation and the development of the bureaucrat system in early days; 3.1t baffle the development of the bureaucrat system finally. 4. Accelerate the change of people's social status; 5.It is the valid means of control land and people by country; 6.1t is the reflection of the policy that attach importance to agriculture but restrain the development of commerce; 7. Result in the social vogue of advocate force, enjoy utility and not think much of comity.The text thinks that the value of the peerage in Qin and Han dynasty is the point of people's benefits and national interests, so it is in the virtuous cycle basically. This system would have some uses for establishment and actuality of some policies innowadays.
