| Li Yu, a remarkable writer living in the transitional period from Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, created a great many excellent works which was later on everybody' s lips .His works abounding in subjects covered almost every walks of his society.besides his superior talents in novels and opera ,Li Yu also had a peculiar advanced in domestic life , Li Yu' life was apparently different from the mass ,because of the refinement of his mastery of life's art and his original thoughts of never sticking to one patternStudying Li Yu's domestic aesthetic thoughts is mainly to discuss his aesthetic interests reflected in his daily activities in domestic life ,such as accommodation, cooking, talking care of himself,personal communication and the aesthetic conception guiding his activities. Holding a research of Li Yu domestic thoughts can not only reflect his full view of life.but also help to understand the whole aesthetic style of his age . An inspiration about modern life can also be acquired through his research : Why a person living in several hundred years ago could feel happy and contented in that relatively coarse and crude environment ? Why his life could be regarded as models and be followed suit nowadays ?There are the questions that deserve our thinking .Because modem people have mastered advanced science and technology ,their life can be generally perfected if guided by an effective life conception ,thus the goal of studying Li Yu's domestic aesthetic thoughts is to borrow his valuable sense into modern life.This paper is divided into three parts: part one mainly discusses the cause of Li Yu's domestic aesthetics.
