| Wordsworth, who is the main founder of English Romantic poetry in the 19th century, is called by Shelly "a singer of Nature" . Xu Zhimo, one of the main poets who create Chinese new poetry in the 20th century, calls himself "a worshiper of Nature" . They both love and sing the praise of nature, and concern about nature's influence on human soul. They express similar opinions on the relationships between nature and childhood, nature and life, and nature and human society in their poems and proses. Xu Zhimo is much influenced by the western romantic poets, especially Wordsworth. That's the reason why Xu Zhimo forms very similar conception of nature as Wordsworth's.
