Pre-comment On Badashanren's Ink-and-wash Paintings

Badashanren,who was skilled in poems, calligraphy and wash paintings—especially his paintings, was an epoch-making artist in Chinese art history. He scaled a new height in flower-and-bird paintings of splashed-ink ,characterized by freehand brushwork after Xuwei. He made great contributions to China and even to the world .This dissertation analyses his artistic characteristics and status in detail—beginning with exploring his way of art —his lifetime of frustrations and approaches the subject of the integrity showed in his paintings in the way of acceptors in aesthetics .
