Lu-zaiyi is the famous composer of china. His vocal 《motherland, my kindly mother》 was known for a long time, he is good at borrowing traditional skill and absorbing the soul of national music. The art songs of Chinese national style are composed by him famous in music fields. I came to study the art songs of Lu- zaiyi .because the style of his art songs is unique. With, unadorned lyric, profound meaning, brilliant melody, his songs are full of artistic charm and boast high aesthetic value.This paper fall into four chapters. The first chapter is an analysis of production of the songs, (including his own background, social situation .process of creation .primary work and spirit of creation). The second chapter goes into the music analysis and creation character of them, (selection of lyric, character of cantus , accompaniment of piano). Chapter three digs style character of them, (character of China , spirit of age , true feeling.) The last chapter explains the art song of Lu zaiyi from the aspects of vocal performance.Lu zaiyi has been productive in creation . He pays attention to the use of national language, national character, and national emotion. It forms a beautiful picture where music and poem are integrated and melodious songs convey.
