A Study On The Second Creation Of Vocal Music

The second creation of vocal music performance is the artistic re-creation produced by the understanding of the singer himself and by his accumulation and application of the techniques of singing, which is part of the necessary skills for a singer, as well as the indispensable process of perfectly performing a musical work. This thesis gives a detailed discussion of the definition and connotation of the second creation of vocal music performance, introduces the common practices in second-creating the vocal music, and illustrates its application by the example of the second-created song Meng Jiangnv, in hope that it can shed some light on the technical improvement of the singer as regards his second-creation in vocal music performance.
