The thesis specializes in the forms of Mongolian folk songs in Erdos. It consists of three parts. Part one includes the creating of folk songs, four channels of arts prevalence in human culture, five forms of folk songs in Erdos and four prevalence channels of them. Part two comprises the comparison between Mongolian folk songs in Erdos and the musical forms in other Mongolian areas, the musical forms of Mongolian folk songs in Erdos, the characteristics of their mode, rhythm and structure, Mongolian and Han tune popular in areas with Erdos as the center. Part three includes the value and the status quo of Mongolian folk songs in Erdos and the observed principles of their protection. Mongolian folk songs in Erdos are the mainstream of Erdos classical music culture and the core of the regional culture. Guided by the policies of the development of western areas, the economics in Erdos develops greatly. Therefore, the theoretical research on the music and the art peculiar in Erdos should also keep pace with the development of the times. The conducted research can not only promote the singing, teaching and theoretical creation, but also have significance in the protection, succession and development of classical music in Inner Mongolia. In the study, the author made a careful analysis of documents and asked for instructions from concerned experts and scholars, and paid much attention to fields investigation, aiming to draw a scientific conclusion about the forms of Mongolian folk songs in Erdos...
