A Study On The Singing Of Lu ZaiYi's Art Song

As a particular music style, art song can be called the essence of song with its unique character and connotation. Mr. Lu ZaiYi is one of China's greatest modern composers and has made supernal achievements in art songs' produce. His opus is of cantus, concinnity and sensation; get song done without any letup, always communicated with time, society and morale. It always pays a tribute to homeland, country and perfect with his responsibility. He is the only one in the whole China who had won three times the Gold Bell Award, a music award at the highest level of the country. However little attention and research has been done on his art songs, therefore this article comes to life and hope it can be of some help to the development of China's art song, can be consulted and used for reference by singers and teachers, and also can call more public attentions to Lu ZaiYi's art songs.Research has been done on seven art songs from "I love this land—— collection of art songs for Lu ZaiYi ". Through the studies on lyrics, rhythm and piano, this essay analyses how to behave the song in vocalist singing, so as to hold its style more accurately, deliver the best annotation, express the true essence of Lu's art songs, and accelerate the vocalist teaching and singing.This essay consists of three parts: preface, text and epilogue. Preface explains the meaning of writing this essay and analyses the current situation of research on this aspect. Text is consisted of three parts: firstly, a look back on the art songs' history, the origin and its development in Europe and China. Secondly, it analyses the singing aspect of seven songsfrom "I love this land——collection of art songs for Lu ZaiYi ".Lu's creation of songs can be divided into two periods by the difference of styles, sunshine singer period and suffering poet period. Finally, are the author's thoughts on the studies of Lu ZaiYi's art songs. Epilogue is about the views and prospects on the development of China's art songs.
