Intellectualism Moral education is a very important educational ideologicalsystem in the development of western moral education. Traditional IntellectualismMoral Education is a theory about knowledge teaching, rationality development andmoral forming. It fundamentally restricts and even defines the direction of modernEuro-American moral education ideology and practice. But with the furtherdevelopment of Euro-American education, the inherent limitation of IntellectualismMoral Education was gradually obvious and the negative influence in educationpractice began to appear. In early 20th, Traditional Intellectualism Moral Educationthat is represented by Herbart, was treated as the sample of old education ortraditional moral education and received severe criticism. In the meanwhile, new ideaand concepts of Intellectualism Moral education was growing under the continuousconflict and integration.
