The Discussion On Betraying Actions In The War Between Late Qing Dynasty And Foreign Countries

In the war between late Qing Dynasty and the foreign countries, various betraying actions strengthed the invaders military power, favored the invaders attacking Qing army, and these betraying actions furthered the attacking actions of the foreign invaders. The betraying actions were one of the important reasons which lead to the failure in the counter invading war in late Qing Dynasty.The betrayers including government officials, paupers, literators, follower of a religion and profiteers etc, their reasons were various including economic reasons, political reasons, culture reasons and religion reasons. All the reasons effected with each other, and became the ground which favored the betraying actions.The betraying actions undermined the counter invading war of Qing Dynasty, and they threatened the sovereignty of Qing Dynasty. So Qing government took the measures, such as propagandizing counter invading, training local militia to beat the betraying actions. Meanwhile Qing government took measures to uproot the betrayal power or accepted the betrayers' surrender. Because the government was corrupted, the economic was declined, the military affairs was slack and other reasons, the Qing Dynasty didn't solved the problem of betraying actions.
