The Evolution Of The Economic And Society In He Kou Town During Modern Time

He Kou Town , as one of "Four Foamous Town" in the period of Ming and Qing dynasty , was remarkable for its handicraft industry such as Tea and paper product, and had once become become the economic center in the northeastern area of JiangXi province. This paper detailedly describes the history about society and economics in HeKou Town in modern time, and particular expatiates the evolution of the handicraft industry, commerce, modern industry and transportation, the change of population structure, social organization, citizens'belief, education ,and clearly explains the process, characteristics and result of this change. The writer put forward that as far as economics concerned, He Kou Town declined gradually in modern time ,but it start to carry into modernization, modern industry and transportation ,though its development again and come down finally, while evolution of the society run into the intergrade of the modern society and the traditional society.
