Analysis And Countermeasures On The Factors That Influence The Communicative Abilities Of University Students

The English teaching of our nation has made great progress since the Reform and Opening-up Policy was carried out. Students' language abilities including listening, speaking, reading and writing, have fundamentally been improved. However, as the society develops and the international communication becomes faster, a series of problems on English teaching in university are emerging, which make it hard for English teaching to meet the demand of the society.By revealing the current situation of English teaching in Yanbian University and analyzing the various factors that influence the communicative abilities in English of university students, what is talked about in this essay is how to solve the problems. It is aiming at improving students' communicative abilities in English, especially the proficiency on listening and speaking, which lead them to a better mastery of English in communication.
