China, N.Korea, S.Korea Kayagum Music Comparative Study Of Performance

Kayagum, the representative musical instrument of Korean nationality, has a history of over 1500 years and it has accompanied the'bitterness and happiness and destiny of Korean nationality and has continuously been loved by them. Kayagum and its music have been inherited and developed with history of Korean nationality and the trend of the times and the instrument and its music have experienced many changes and stages of development. Chinese kayagum has the features of combination with kayagum of both S.Korea and N.Korea, therefore it takes the traditional music of S.Korea as the basis and N.Korea's new juche music and also strengths of music of other nationalities of China and it is developing as a kayagum music with Chinese Korean nationality characteristics. The comprehensive analysis and study of present situation of development and features of performance of kayagum music in China, N.Korea, S.Korea have important realistic and instructive significance in summarizing of multiple of performance styles and forms of kayagum music of Chinese Korean nationality with its characteristics and losses and gains in its development process and in correct inheriting and opening up path of development of kayagum music performance. This article introduces the history of development of kayagum music in the three countries of China, N.Korea, S.Korea and analyzes the background of formation of different styles of kayagum music in the three countries, compares characteristics of performance of kayagum in the countries and indicates the direction of development of kayagum music of Chinese Korean nationality on the basis of present of kayagum music of the three countries.
