Language Perspective Of Laozi And Zhuangzi And Its Literary Significance

Many scholars had given their attention to the language persperctive of Laozi and Zhuangzi from ancient .They noticed that the language was an instrument for communion it was a sort of crude objects.But not enough has been done on the relationship between human and language. The thought about language of Laozi and Zhuangzi belongs to their "Tao"theory system. In their eyes, "Tao"was substance of the world and origin of the universe.It was perfect and full.The common language was the knowledge and the cognition,it is limited,can't express the infinite Tao.So they guarded against language ,but they did not discard language. They wanted that language which was natural and full of life, because the last purpose of their "Tao"is the human. the aim of criticism to the common Language is not knowledge but existence of life.So the essence of Laozi's and Zhuangzi's linguistics is scholarship of human.Since literature is scholarship of human ,the persperctive of Laozi and Zhuangzi has a very important influence on 2000 years' literature of China.
