The Educational Thought And Practice Of Mohist School

The article is divided into four parts . In chapter one ,we mainly introduce the appearance of Mohist School's education. This text has mainly discussed such respects as the promoter of Mohist School's education(discussing mainly the name, era of life , origin and the birthplace of Mo Zi), the objects of the educational function of Mohist School, the source of the educational thought of Mohist School etc.In chapter two, we have combed the educational thought of Mohist School, summarizing the educational principle , educational function , the educational purpose of Mohist School, the characteristics of the Mohist School's knowledge and the basic method that they used.In chapter three, we have discussed the educational practice of Mohist School. Through long-term educational practice, Mohist School had used a set of comparatively intact teaching methods, proposing the advocation of teaching voluntarily, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, and the theory combining with practice etc.On the educational content, Mohist School had adopted comparatively advanced branch education, especially the content of natural science, comparatively outstanding. In the end part of education discussed, we propose some problems failed to solve .In chapter four, we have discussed the decline of Mohist School's education. Analyzing the impact of the decline of Mohist School on Mohist School's education, in our view, it is the main reason that the reduction of Mohist School talents' society need caused the decline of Mohist School's education.
