Research On Social Security Ethics Of Confucianism

As a rising field of study, research of social security ethics has practical significance. It is not only important to establish basic framework to study the current phenomenon but also essential to identify ethical development. So it requires researching focus on some important works and figures in history. For the Chinese traditional Confucian culture, from ancient society to the "Datong community," and "well-off society", contains quite a lot of ethical thoughts of social security. Such social security ethics as a special historical pattern in the Chinese cultural tradition, until today still affects main values and behavior of China, affects installment and operation of social security system, and even has influence on absorption and adaptation to the West ones. Therefore, the research of Confucian classics " Confucian analects" and "Mencius" is of great importance.The main object of the dissertation is social security thoughts which could promote social security system to develope in a way of harmonies. The paper is attempt to excavate the quintessence of Confucianism from the angle of social security development, regulation and operation. Although in modern logic to examine, it may not be structured, here in this sub-component approach is trying to seize several dimensions and explore the development reasons in the context of the history, making a detail analysis on the Confucian ethics in social security. Indeed, there was no concept of social security in the era of Confucius, we can not use the modern concept of social security to set the ancient expression, but to excavate the quintessence of original works in a rigorous and realistic attitude combining the modern fruits.Social security ethics of Confucianism system with its theoretical perspective and the pursuit of the spirit beyond the times have won its noble historical status. It provides a lot of valuable insights for the building and development of our social security system putting aside the negative impact.
