After the anti-Japan war broke out, great number of Japanese immigrated into Chinamain land according to the invade-China policy. Japan laid much emphasis on theenemy-occupied area of North China, in where the number of Japanese nationals wasnumerous. After Japan surrendered, how to deal with Japanese nationals became one ofurgentest problems to solve. On this matter, Chinese government put forward the policy of "forgetting old grievance " and " returning good for evil " and took a series of correspondingmeasures. Peking was one of areas where Japanese nationals gathered at in the puppet time.After the war, Japanese nationals central management office of Peking was established tomeet the need of the repatriation of Japanese nationals. Then the office began to set up theAdministrative Institute to manage Japanese nationals and carry on spiritual education. Theyalso continued to employ the related Japanese technician according to some actual need andused the Japanese nationals to do the cleaning work. Finally Japanese nationals wererepatriated safely. The office was dismissed after the repatriation work finished. Duringthe process of repatriation, Chinese government and people adhered to the policy of "returning good for evil " and treated the Japanese nationals kindly and humanly. The factdisplayed the vast mind of Chinese government and people.
